Unvanquished

Open source multiplayer shooter that combines FPS with RTS elements. Each team has a base and can build stuff and equip and upgrade their units. The game is humans vs aliens, which adds interesting gameplay variations, since both sides are very different.
Derived from the Tremulous project and similar to the Half-Life mod Natural Selection, both games were very similar, but people still argue who copied from who.
